The Coffee Club New Zealand opened the doors to The Coffee Club Ramada Albany on Wednesday 12 April. Part of the country’s newest Ramada Hotel, the café is ideally located on Auckland’s North Shore for residents of the 4-star serviced apartments, or passers-by in need of a coffee or bite to eat.
The Coffee Club Ramada Albany is fully licensed and has a breakfast, brunch and lunch menu that can be ordered from at any time of the day.
Neighbours include Westfield Albany as well as iconic North Shore landmarks such as QBE North Harbour Stadium and Massey University. There are also other high quality restaurants and retail stores in the area.
Owner Tritip Kittitanarux was selected for Ramada Albany due to her extensive background in hospitality and her passion for the business. After moving to New Zealand from Thailand 20 years ago, she completed a master’s degree in Marketing Management at Massey University. She then worked for several high-profile travel and tourism brands, including Virgin Australia and Air New Zealand.
“I was on duty flying in Cairns, Australia, when I dined for the first time at The Coffee Club,” explains Tritip. “I fell in love with the whole concept immediately. The ambience was delightful, that particular store’s signature club sandwich dish was delicious, and the aroma of freshly ground coffee just added to the whole experience. It was at that moment that I decided I wanted to pursue a career with The Coffee Club. I knew that I would really enjoy delivering a memorable service, with great food and coffee, in comfortable surroundings.”
The Coffee Club New Zealand directors, Brad Jacobs and Andy Lucas, are thrilled that someone with such a high level of experience has joined the team.
“Tritip is going to be a huge asset to The Coffee Club,” says Brad. “The time she spent working in travel and tourism has given her an in-depth understanding of customer service and hospitality. She is also an experienced supervisor and skilled at motivating her employees to perform at their absolute best. We’re sure that customers of The Coffee Club Ramada Albany will enjoy getting to know Tritip and her team. They can expect good food, great coffee and a smiling service.”
The Coffee Club Ramada Albany is open 7am to 5pm during the week and 8am to 5pm on weekends. With 50 plus free car parks on site, the cafe can be found at the corner of Cornerstone Drive and Kaipiho Lane in Albany, Auckland.
