Considering franchising with The Coffee Club? Meet the Team at the Franchise & Small Business Expo
18–19 September 2026 • Due Drop Events Centre, Auckland • Free to attend - Registration required
If you’ve been considering franchising with The Coffee Club, the Franchise & Small Business Expo in Auckland this September is a valuable opportunity to meet the team, ask questions and learn more about what becoming a franchisee with The Coffee Club could look like.
The Coffee Club will be exhibiting at the Expo on 18–19 September 2026 at the Due Drop Events Centre, giving prospective franchisees the chance to meet directly with Brad Jacobs and other members of The Coffee Club New Zealand team.
For anyone seriously considering a franchise, there is real value in being able to move beyond a website, brochure or email and have a face-to-face conversation with the people behind the brand.
At the Expo, you’ll be able to learn more about The Coffee Club franchise opportunity, the type of people the brand is looking for, current and upcoming opportunities, and the training, systems and ongoing support available to franchisees.
It is also a chance to ask the practical questions that matter. What does operating a café really involve? What training is provided? What support can you expect once your café is open? How does the site selection and development process work? And, importantly, is The Coffee Club the right fit for your goals, experience and lifestyle?
Hear from Brad Jacobs on franchise training and support
The Coffee Club’s Brad Jacobs will also be taking part in an Expo panel discussion, “What Effective Franchise Training and Ongoing Support Look Like.”
Training and ongoing support are two of the most important areas to understand when assessing any franchise opportunity. The session will provide prospective franchisees with useful insight into what they should be looking for from a franchise system, both before opening and throughout the ongoing franchise relationship.
Brad brings more than 20 years of hands-on experience with The Coffee Club in New Zealand. Together with his business partner, Andy Lucas, he introduced the brand to the New Zealand market and, as a Director of The Coffee Club New Zealand, continues to play a key role in its growth, development and support of the franchise network.
A chance to learn more about franchising generally
While The Coffee Club will be a key reason for many prospective franchisees to attend, the Expo also offers a broader opportunity to learn more about franchising and business ownership.
Across the two days, visitors can meet franchise brands, business advisers, suppliers and industry specialists, as well as attend seminars and discussions covering franchising, finance, marketing, systems, leadership and growth.
It is a useful environment to compare different franchise models, gather information and speak directly with people working across the sector, helping you become better informed before deciding what your next step might be.
The Franchise & Small Business Expo is free to attend, but registration is required.
If The Coffee Club is a franchise you’ve been considering, this is a great opportunity to come along, meet Brad and the wider team, and learn more about the brand, the available opportunities and what becoming a franchisee with The Coffee Club could involve.
