There’s been a few price changes to Burgers with Bite side menus, and we’ve updated the prices on UberEats and Aloha/NCR system to reflect the changes.
The update is live from today.
Please note there is one recipe/serving change – Chicken Dippers which is reduced from 6 to 4 per serving now.

IT UPDATE :: Burgers With Bite Price Changes

To all franchisees and team members, I hope you had a great week.
We had some issues with UberEats drivers finding the pickup locations for Burgers with Bite orders. As such, we ask you be very specific with the pickup instructions which can be updated on the tablet via Tap Menu >> Settings >> Business Information >> Add in the pickup instruction >> Tap update to save.
If your store is inside a mall/shopping centre, please include the mall name and level the store is located.
For example,

Pick up at The Coffee Club store inside ________ mall/shopping centre on level _______.
Below is an example of detailed pickup instructions. We encourage you to add as much information as you feel necessary.

Take Mortimer Pass

Turn right to enter the mall car park

Go up the ramp until you arrive at level 3m parking, then go down 1 level until you reach level 3 parking this is the closest level to our store

Once inside the Westfield Newmarket mall, pick up at The Coffee Club on level 3.

IT UPDATE :: Burgers With Bite - Drinks Update

To all franchisees and team members,
I am resending the email as the previous email had broken images.
From Monday 13th July, The Coffee Club drinks will be available on Burgers with Bite’s UberEats menu. If you receive orders for these drinks next week, please prepare and serve them as per TCC recipe. The price of the drinks will match the drinks on TCC UberEats menu.
On the POS system, we’ve added the drink categories under the Burgers with Bite order mode. The update will be effective from tomorrow.
When you order items under the Burgers with Bite order mode, you will notice they are priced lower than it’s menu price. The price of the items will match the menu price after selecting “Burgers with Bite” as the payment option. Please see the images below for the reference.

New Virtual Kitchen - Burgers With Bite

To all Franchisees & Store Managers,
Following on from the launching email (16th April 2020 – seen below),
WE ARE ALMOST READY TO GO LIVE – NEW VIRTUAL KITCHEN – Burgers with Bite
We received confirmation that Uber Eats BwB tablets were sent to stores last week and everyone should have them now.
There were a few stores that changed their delivery addresses last minute so if you were one of these and are still awaiting your tablets, contact restaurants.anz@uber.com or simo@uber.com .
UberEats will be sending the logins to stores in next few days. If you have not received by Friday, contact restaurants.anz@uber.com or simo@uber.com .
The buttons are loaded on your POS, so please ensure you choose Burgers with Bite section when keying in the orders.
COMPLIANCE INFORMATION
Note that it is EXTREMELY IMPORTANT to ensure no packaging or receipts for The Coffee Club are included in an order for Burgers with Bite.
Please check all receipts before stapling to your Uber bags ensuring these are labelled with Burgers with Bite rather than The Coffee Club.
It’s essential to the credibility and success of Burgers with Bite that the two brands are kept completely separate.
PACKAGING INFORMATION
BwB bag tags with Food Safety Information, along with Manuals and Recipes will be sent out to stores this week.
Please review, plan and order your new ingredients (as per above, and also found on Bidfood Online) and ensure you have the correct takeaway equipment as per below.
DO NOT attach your Kitchen Printer order docket to the Uber Bag (as this will contain TCC information, and once again brands must be kept completely seperate).

New Virtual Kitchen - Burgers With Bite

We are excited to introduce you to our New Virtual Kitchen Concept – ‘Burgers with Bite’
‘Burgers with Bite’ (BwB) is an online only ‘virtual restaurant’, offering deliciously indulgent burgers straight from your TCC kitchens delivered hot and fresh to our beloved customer’s doors. BwB provides you with the ability to diversify your product offering and drive incremental sales at your store.
Virtual Brands, also known as ‘dark kitchens or ghost kitchens’ are becoming more prominent around New Zealand and the world. The concept of these online only brands utilises existing kitchens and store footprints and offers the opportunity for existing brands to expand and diversify their product offering without the overheads of further physical/retail space.
‘Burgers with Bite’ has been trialled and tested in TCC stores throughout Australia over the last six months with great success. It has been especially important in maintaining sales in Australia over the last month to two as they have traded as a takeaway and delivery only business. We expect that Level 3 in New Zealand will also see us trading as takeaway and delivery only for some time, so we need to maximise every opportunity possible to maintain and capture new customers/sales.

NEW INGREDIENTS LIST
Most of the BwB recipes utilise existing ingredients already in your store, however there are a few new ingredients you will need to buy – see attached list. You will note that some of these are new ingredients that will be required for the new TCC menu anyway.
WHAT TO DO NOW
Please contact Nikesh 027 333 4251 by Friday 17th April so he can contact UberEats to send you an agreement to commence BwB. The cost involved is the same as your UberEats sign up fee. The delivery commission will be the same as TCC at 30%.
